Much to report, much to report. I’m going to just keep it short and to the point. We are moving to Lubbock! The girls and I are actually headed that way tomorrow (or maybe Friday morning). Long story short, James is at ACU finishing up some classes this semester. We were all thinking about moving to Lubbock anyway this summer for him to start graduate school at Tech (hopefully). To minimize/eliminate expenses while he is in school here, we made the quick and prayerful decision for the girls and I to go ahead and go, live with my parents for awhile and get a head start on our life there. Deep breath. It will be hard to be apart for awhile, though there will be many visits back and forth. We covet your prayers during this transition. We both truly love Abilene and hope to eventually end up back here.
Funny stories about Kaitlyn and this move coming soon….

We are going to miss you guys sooooo much! Michael and I lived apart for 6 months while he began his job here at Highland and I finished teaching in Houston. Made lots of flights back and forth. It was tough, but I can’t imagine having kiddos too! Keeping you in our prayers!

I loved looking at all of the photos of your girls. Your blog was fun to read too. I have loved getting to know your 2 big girls and was greatly saddened when Garrison told me last night that you all were moving. I can’t believe Kaitlin is so grown up now. She reminds me of Allyson, always has her own sense of style and not ashamed to show it off. I love that about her. Cora just makes me laugh. I’ve loved having her in class these last few weeks. It has been so fun to watch play in the home living center. So content to just play by herself or with Zoe. She gives great hugs and smiles and loves to show her food while eating. She thinks it’s so funny.
I hope you all will be able to come back often. Megan and Garrison are in mourning, I think. I know Megan and Garrison love your girls very much. They are the first kids he’s really spent a lot of time with. I love seeing pictures of him with them. Good training for him to be a dad.
I’ll be praying for you both and the girls as you adjust to this move. I know God has great things in store for your family.
